Kristen Stewart had trouble figuring out who Bella was to her Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson have been filming some steamy honeymoon scenes for the “Breaking Dawn” film, but director David Slade reveals that while those scenes come easy between the couple, others weren’t the case.

He admits, “[Kristen] would say, ‘I don’t know who Bella is to me.’ In a lot of ways, I think she felt Bella was the antithesis to her, which presented a lot of challenges for Kristen…She would beat herself up about it, because she wants to be there. She never wants to leave a scene undone,” reports RTE.

He adds, “Kristen, in particular, was very tough on herself. Even in rehearsals with Rob, there was a similar spiralling that would happen.”

Do you think Kristen has portrayed Bella accurately?

She’s not a very good Bella. She’s very dead behind the eyes and emotionless. I’m sorry that she finds it so hard to portray the character.

Yeah, She plays a dull, boring, whiny little bitch pretty well. Not hard to do really so her lack of talent doesn’t matter.

I disagree. She portrays Bella’s character pretty well. I think she’s just putting too much pressure on herself. Playing big roles gives a lot of stress for the actor/actress, and I think that’s normal. In my opinion, she’s a great actress and she’s doing pretty well.

I on the other hand think she does a good job at being the Bella I envisioned. I guess I admire her quirks.

I wonder if the idea of Bella is so high up there that no one would be suited to play her, in others eyes.

personally i really like her and when you listen to her talk about the character it’s almost like she becomes her. she really gets it and embodies bella. to the people who don’t like her or talk shit all the time, i think they are feeding off of the opinions of other people rather than forming their own opinions

i really like her, i will say her character is not as acurate as the books but she would be crying in 90% of the movies, who the hell wants to see that?!!! I reckon there needed to be more of the love she shows for jacob in the books to show in eclipse about how hards she’s torn. But then thats the directors call. The next one (ones) i guess, is gonna be real hard for her cuz she’s gonna need every emotion on the surface. i personally can’t picture any other actress playing bella and am really looking forward to breaking dawn.

kristen stewart can be happy, but she always seems awkward or uncomfortable, in the face, in the eyes. She never really got into being bella. bella’s was not depressed, well in new moon, but she was insightful, a bit upbeat, yet reserved. kristen could never portray happiness.

She portrays Bella quite well. In the books, Bella did not display her emotions often. Edward would often have to rely on her heartbeat to determine how she really felt. Let’s face it, one of the reasons so many people read the books was because Bella was not the typical emo teenage girl. I would not want an emotional Bella-I wouldn’t believe it. I feel for botn Rob and Kristen because trying to act emotionless has to be extremely difficult.

the problem here is that Rob outplays his Role as Edward almost to the fullest. Kristen was much better in Twilight than NM or Eclipse. I have the feeling Kristen tries to hard to adjust to Rob. Just play the way you saw Bella in the first place. Rosenberg doesn’t really help in creating that so called emancipated woman all of a sudden who makes choices for herself. Now she comes over as a selfish twotiming little bi…h. I never saw the devotion Bella had in the Book for Edward in any of the 2 last Movies. The Movie played out that Jacob should be the better and logical choice for her and thats the way Kristen acted. Just go back showing the deep feelings you have for the Vampire …do not pull away when he kisses you and be happy to see him…otherwise get some cups
