Adam Lambert places in the top third of Billboard’s charts

“Are you a huge fan of “Adam Lambert” who likes to blog? We’ve got a job for you…” Adam Lambert has already received his first Grammy nomination, and now the singer has just received some more accolades to add to his list. Billboard has just released their top charts for the year and Lambert has placed in the top third on more than a few of them.

According to Billboard, he is number 27 on the Billboard Artist of the Year list, number 31 on the Hot 100 Artists, number 31 on the Top Billboard 200 Artists, and number 33 on the Hot Digital Song Artists list.

With Lambert gearing up to release a new album next year, we’d say it’s safe to say he has a lot to celebrate this New Year’s.

Thanks for the interesting article Linny. This is off topic but does anyone know if Adam is performing this New Years EVE?

It is about time America recognises a true talent that is Adam Lambert, his vocals are superb and unmatched to any one out there, IMHO

And he can’t be matched in Live Performance…AMAZING. Can’t wait for the new album!!

Love you Adam! Congrats to you! YOU are phenomenal!!!!

He has a great voice but in 2 or 3 years his fanbase will have shrunk considerably. I don’t think he has what it takes personality-wise to be in the business longterm.

The rocker has one of the best voices in the business. So happy for Adam’s success.

@Jess…What is it about Adam’s personality that would not encourage long-term success in the business? I’m genuinely curious, because IMO he has the *perfect* personality to survive the twists and turns, and ups and downs, of show business – probably one of the most well-suited personalities to stand up to fame that I’ve ever seen.. He’s supremely confident and comfortable in his own skin, so the opinions of others don’t weigh overly heavily on him. He has a flawless work ethic and sense of professionalism, as is shown by his non-stop schedule since “American Idol” and the fact that he gave his all during every interview and every concert, without one concert cancellation throughout a grueling 100+ show tour. People who have worked with him have nothing but gushing praise for his talent and his treatment of those around him. He is incredibly articulate, charming and humorous – interviewers adore him. His attitude is almost unfailingly positive and life-affirming. For all his sweetness, he is willing and able to stand up for himself when need be. His charisma draws people to him. Where is the bad here?

Well @Jess … hate to burst your bubble but ADAM LAMBERT has just been named ENTERTAINER of the YEAR 2010 in a WORLWIDE poll run by Fleckingrecords with other artists such as McFly .. Lady Gaga .. Pink .. Christina Agulera .. Katty Perry … and several others in the running .. to name a few. This poll is the SECOND such poll run by Fleckingrecords of the UK in which ADAM also was the WINNER … namely SEXIEST Man … ahead of Rob Pattinson .. Leonardo DiCaprio .. Zac Efron … and many many more!! Still think he won’t be as popular or relevant in 2-3 years??
