Adam Lambert snatches two CMA-WAY awards Adam Lambert has been touring abroad and it looks like it is really starting to gain him some serious recognition over seas. The pop star continues to end the year on a high note as he has just nabbed two more awards to add to his collection.

The !WANjK CMA Twitter account announced yesterday that Lambert has won awards for “Best Male Singer – International” and “Best Single – International” for his hit “Whataya Want From Me.” He beat out rock group 30 Seconds to Mars and Shakira pulling in over half the votes.

Congratulations to Lambert and his recent awards.

Yeah Adam!! He received the international video in Canada and is up for Japan’s Billboard awards too!

Yes!! The international awards just keep rolling in. Wonder if all this recognition will finally wake up the “tight assed” U.S. music industry.
I hope he receives an international award at our Canadian Grammys, The Junos, in March.
He already won best international video in Canada.

    I hope the U.S. wakes up…soon.
Adam is winning in other coutry’s.
We all love him because he IS the best.
I hope he wins the Grammy but in any case, we know he is the only one that can really sing…anything and his personality is sooo great and positive.
Go Adam, 2011 is going to be even better than 2010.

This is great news I knew about the Best Male Singer but didn’t know he also won the Best Single Intermational. Whataya Want From Me has been so successful cause Adam changes the song up constantly to keep it fresh and interesting.

Adam pulled in over half the votes on American Idol as well. It was those 38 million cheating votes from Arkansas that deprived him of his US win.

Thank you for a great write-up about this exciting new pop star! There’s no one I find more exciting or interesting than this dynamic vocalist and showman! Wishing him much success in the future, in the U.S. and abroad.
In the U.S. Adam competes not only against other pop/rock musicians, but C&W and R&B as well, particularly for airplay. IMO, half the people in the U.S. prefer country music anyway, creating a challenge for any wild and gorgeous popstar. Its awesome to see all the support from Adam’s international fans!
