Robert Pattinson needs 25 security guards Robert Pattinson has quite a few fans and it seems they have gotten a bit out of control as his number of security guards continues to go up.

The ‘Twilight’ star admitted that he sometimes has to deal with having 25 security guards, states Hollyscoop. “They had to hire another ten security guards and they had to form a ring around you and it had to be every single day,” Pattinson said about the inconvenience.

He also revealed that this is just necessary for him to get from the set to his trailer. Apparently, the actor is considering hiring a body double just to get some freedom.

Do you think Robert Pattinson needs all this security?

I think it would be a terrifying experience to have people grabbing and pushing and screaming at you like that all the time. I don’t think i could handle it. So, yes, I think Rob needs as many body guards as necessary to keep safe, not just physically but mentally as well.

I don’t know how he deals with it, and he’s always so gracious with his fans. I suppose in a few years it will taper down but I don’t think he’s a prima donna, so if he has that many body guards then he must need them.

So Molly, what do you think? How come you reporters never offer an opinion, just pose questions to create debates? I come here to procrastinate and, though interesting at times, I’ve noticed that you reporters pose the question yet never answer it. So, what do you think?

As I remember well, Rober said these along the Remember Me promotion. So, it is an old story, you’ve picked up. I think if he had this group around him in-wherever-he-was during the Holidays, we kept so many photos. But I agree with Michele… nowadays reporters put up questions…and sometimes very stupid question… and the answer? Blowing in the wind.
