‘The Social Network’ most downloaded movie on iTunes
HollywoodNews.com: “The Social Network” has had a momentous weekend as it heads into the final stretch of Oscars campaigning season.
The film about the founding of Internet phenomenon Facebook not only picked up two awards this weekend for screenwriter Aaron Sorkin, who received the USC Scripter and WGA awards for best adapted screenplay within a 24-hour period of each other, but also moved into the No. 1 spot for most downloaded movie on iTunes.
According to Examiner, The Social Network is currently the No. 1 movie downloaded for both online rentals and purchases.
Rounding out the top 10 best-selling movies on iTunes are Red, Conviction, Beverly Hills Chihuahua, Middle Men, Let Me In, Inception, Secretariat, Never Let Me Go and Salt.
