‘Rolling Stone’ forgot part of Justin Bieber’s quote

HollywoodNews.com: Justin Bieber recently found himself in a bit of controversy with some things he said in a ‘Rolling Stone’ interview, but maybe he was a bit misquoted.

‘Rolling Stone’ has recently released the entire quote that was not included in the snippet, states Celebuzz. While Bieber discussed abortion in relation to rape, people thought he said that rape happens for a reason.

However, after his line about everything happening for a reason, Bieber reportedly then said, “I don’t know how that would be a reason.”

Do you think Justin Bieber was unfairly criticized or does this not really change the quote much?

“I don’t know how that would be a reason” is 10 times worse the original printing. “Everything happens for a reason” is a little bit more compassionate sounding. But the “correct” quote is 10 times more sexist, ignorant and misinformed. With the original quote, I thought he was just a kid who just didn’t know what he was saying. Saying rape is not a reason to be an abortion makes him either an asshole or an idiot. Possibly both. If I were Bieber, I wouldn’t have spoke up about the misprint because he just made himself look worse by correcting it.
