Twilight Eclipse Bella and Jacob

By Kim Palacios

hollywoodnews.com: If Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards are any indication, younger fans of “The Twilight Saga” prefer Jacob to Edward. The 2010 award nominations saw Taylor Lautner nominated for Favorite Movie Actor (Robert Pattinson was conspicuously absent from this nomination). And though both Bella and Edward and Bella and Jacob were nominated for the Cutest Couple award, it was Bella and Jacob who won the category.

Now it’s 2011, and nominees were recently announced. Absent again is Robert Pattinson from the nominees. This time, Taylor Lautner is absent as well, as is a nod for the Twilight Saga itself, which was nominated for Best Book Series in 2010.

The only Twilight nomination this year has gone to Kristen Stewart, who received her first nomination for Favorite Movie Actress. Her competition? Miley Cyrus, Ashley Judd, and Emma Watson. Voting is not yet open; the show will air the evening of April 2nd.
