Chris Brown has upset domestic violence groups with comment Everyone knows about the domestic violence matter between Chris Brown and Rihanna, but now people are getting upset again as Brown recently seemed to downplay the situation when he called it a “mishap.”

Brown reportedly told ‘Page Six Magazine’ that he did lose some friends due to this “mishap,” states Now, the National Organization of Women has responded as they feel he is brushing off what happened.

“To imply that it is something that can just be gotten over is just an insult against women across the country,” Erin Matson, Acting Vice President, commented in regard to Brown saying he won’t keep apologizing to everyone.

Matson is also upset that he called a violent matter like this where Rihanna was left with physical damages something like a “mishap.”

Do you think Chris Brown is speaking too lightly of it?

Where is this groups outrage over Charlie Sheen and Mel Gibson? Chris has done everything the court has asked him to do so he is entitled to move on with his life just like everyone else.

Thank you LEB!!! I haven’t heard one woman’s group go onto bash Charlie Sheen who still LIES about his DV history. He shot Kelly Preston while dating her. An abused former girlfriend had physical scars and he was recently charged for an assault against his soon-to-be former wife in Aspen, Colorado. Yet when asked about he says No I never hit a woman. Woman are to be caressed and held. Please!!! Such media bias!!

He paid for his mistakes and he hasn’t taken it lightly. He suffered plenty behind the incident. People really need to move on. He did community service, ridiculed by hater, his career suffered so how the hell is he taking any of this lightly. Stop making him the damn poster boy for domestic violence.

Chris Brown deserves ALL of the ridicule and scorn he has earned. Diverting responsibility of ofher artists actions does not EXCUSE Chris Brown. He is definitely unrepentant and is trying to capitalize off of his brutality to this young woman, no matter how much he wants to trivialize what he did. His bodyguard, Big Pat is also being accused of raping and drugging a young fan and that is an example of his true role models, where are the positive men in his life. He is social ackward and unable to comprehend just how heinous his actions are. He seems to believe if he just had a hit record then all should go by the wayside, however the mainstream is not having that nonsense.

Please explain to those who are upset, that Chris Brown was misquoted by many media outlets. They should actually READ the article before they form an opinion. He did NOT say he was tired of apologizing for what happened to Rihanna, nor did he call it a mishap. He was misquoted by blog sites like yours. smh
