ABC punished Adam Lambert, but not Chris Brown? ABC has decided to allow Chris Brown to perform on ‘Dancing with the Stars’ and are leaving an invitation for him if he wants to come back to ‘Good Morning America,’ but the treatment for Adam Lambert was quite different when he kissed another guy.

After Lambert’s performance for the American Music Awards in 2009, ABC decided to cut him off, states the New York Post. ABC canceled Lambert’s appearance on ‘Good Morning America’ and his scheduled performance on Dick Clark’s annual ‘New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.’

While Lambert received this treatment for kissing another man, Brown was apologized to by Robin Roberts and offered a invite back after his outburst that had him breaking a window.

Lambert, at the time, was still just a rising star, while Brown already has had quite a bit of attention on him and would surely be good for ratings.

What do you think about the treatment?

Its sheer hipocracy, but typical playing to the ultra conservatives who not only condone but on some level support violence as they perceive it as a show of manliness, vs homosexuality. Having said that, Adam has in so many ways risen above that and has soared in his career, he doesn’t need to be on shows such as “Dancing with the Stars”, where there are mostly those who are not really big stars. Adam is a star among stars because of his mega talent, his generous and giving spirit, he is the whole entire package, Chris Brown on the other hand obviously did not learn anything from doing his time if he is still dealing with the frustrations and challenges he faces through violence….enough said.

ABC is just sickening. I gave them one chance after not allowing him on the GMA show but now this is just taking it too far. It’s like they are for ABUSE and against gays. What a bad message to give to their viewers. I guess Adam should have to go and beat a woman and break a window to be able to get on their shows. He doesn’t need them anyways. ABC is just …gross.

NEVER WATCH ABC OR GMA after what they did to Adam. I would like to sit down personally with the head of ABC and give him a piece of my mind. ABC is the WORST.

Don’t just post your thoughts here. Go to ABC website and give them your opinions. I have done the same and so have several of my Glambert friends. You have to give it to them – the injustice to Adam and the disgusting behaviour of Chris Brown and the fact that if they invited Adam to sing on DWTS the ratings would go through the roof!
ABC and its narrow-minded owners/producers suck big time!

Am I mistaken? Didn’t Adam perform on Dancing before? Or was that before the AMAs?

  • March 28, 2011 | Permalink |

for anyone interested in emailing the sponsors of DWTS, here’s a partial list…..Ford, Macy’s, Tropicana, Loreal and AT&T. Don’t expect AT&T to care about Adam. Remember idol? Anyway if you want to make an appeal to keep Chris Brown off this is how you go about it. Sponsors! Obviously the only thing that will make ABC listen.

i think that adam lambert did nothing wrong at the AMA’s i thought he performed great and quite francly i think that the kiss with tommy was more than adorable and that abc had no right to cancel his upcoming shows!!! i also think that the people watching that over-reacted A TON b/c everybody is so homophobic these days when they have no reason to be..i think this whole issue is stupid and adam should have been rewarded for his performance b/c it was so good..not punished as harshly as he was!!!
