‘American Idol’ contestants handle rock night just fine

HollywoodNews.com: According to ‘American Idol’ judges, there weren’t really any poor performances when contestants took on songs by those in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

One of the only disses for the night was against Pia Toscano’s dance moves, but the judges thought she killed the song “River Deep – Mountain High,” states RadarOnline.com. Jacob Lusk covered Michael Jackson’s “Man in the Mirror” and got Jennifer Lopez to say the performance was “perfect.”

Casey Abrams, who almost saw his end on ‘AI’ a couple weeks ago, performed “Have You Ever Seen the Rain?” and won the judges over. Randy Jackson had a major comment for him: “You definitely did John Fogerty justice and you did Creedence Clearwater Revival proud: It was revolutionary.”
