‘American Idol’ elimination brings in record votes

HollywoodNews.com: Another ‘American Idol’ elimination has occurred and this time it brought in a record 53 million votes.

Viewers cast their votes based on the performances on movie night and this time Paul McDonald was sent home, states RadarOnline.com. McDonald was the first guy to be sent home since the top 13.

The bottom three also included Stefano Langone and Haley Reinhart.

    It had to be a MALE this time or there would have been a ‘conspiracy’ against the FEMALE contestants zero-ing in on yet ANOTHER male idol. Yes!! Unfortunately I have to agree that they picked the right one this time … now we’ll see what happens from here on to the end. I think they have ALREADY chosen their ‘Winner’ regardless of America’s choice. I think the voting system should choose the THREE bottom contestants & then it would be up to the JUDGES to ELIMINATE the one they think is the weakest of the THREE … that way EVERYONE would have the opportunity to choose the FINAL outcome … not just the VOTERS!! Then it would be up to the VOTERS in the FINAL choice because I think the wrong ones have been getting eliminated up to now …….. That’s JMO …..
