Katie Holmes, Chace Crawford will be “Responsible Adults”

Hollywoodnews.com: Katie Holmes’ professional career has been hit-and-miss.
She’ll appear in Christopher Nolan’s “Batman Begins,” but bail on the franchise before “The Dark Knight” … considered by many to be the best superhero film ever made. And given Nolan’s tendency to work with the same actors from film to film, Holmes could have found herself part of a prodigious ensemble. But it wasn’t meant to be. Then she signs on to “The Kennedys,” playing glamorous Jackie O, but the mini-series is deemed “too controversial” and banished to Reelz Channel.
But this new project sounds like it has potential. Holmes has joined “Gossip Girl” star Chace Crawford in the comedy-romance “Responsible Adults.” THR reports from the Cannes Film Festival that John Poll will direct the feature for Night & Day Pictures.
According to THR, the film is “about a 30-year-old med student, to be played by Holmes, who meets and falls for a younger man, played by Crawford, only to realize she once was his baby sitter.”
The movie begins production in the fall.
