“Yogi Bear” sequel scares up screenwriting duo

Hollywoodnews.com: Hey Boo Boo! Are you ready for a return trip to Jellystone?
Well, we’re going back, whether you want to or not.
Hide your picnic baskets because writers Joshua Sternin and Jeffrey Ventimilia have been hired by Warner to pen a sequel to their original “Yogi Bear,” a 3D blend of live action and animation that starred Dan Aykroyd and Justin Timberlake as Yogi and Boo Boo, respectively. Tom Cavanagh and Anna Faris were the humans in Yogi’s world, though no word yet, according to Variety, if they would return.
The first “Yogi” earned more than $200 million worldwide, so a sequel was inevitable. No idea yet when it will be in theaters.
