Jennifer Hudson slams Bossip via Twitter
By Kim Palacios
hollywoodnews.com: “Bossip u owe me an apology!” read singer/actress Jennifer Hudson’s Twitter page this morning, following a piece that Bossip.com ran about the Grammy and Academy Award-winning star’s prospects for finding a buyer for her book. Building upon a New York Post article, which reported that Hudson has (unsuccessfully) been shopping a book proposal about her weight loss for some four years, the Bossip article strongly asserted that Hudson could not get a seven figure deal without talking about her tragic past.
In fairness to Bossip, the New York Post article makes the same assertion, saying “But while Hudson’s weight struggle and self-help tips are marketable, sources say because of her $1 million-plus demand for the deal, publishers are holding out for the full story about her coping with the horrific slaying of her family.”
But, the Bossip article was a bit more scathing, saying, “Maybe it’s because she wants a fortune to tell her story, but Jennifer Hudson can’t seem to get publishers to buy the “Feeling Good Now That I’m Not A Big Girl” book she’s been shopping since before she had dropped all the weight. J. Hud and her ghostwriter literary agent have been trying to get a mil for her tale of conquering obesity for the past four years. And no one is buying it.”
Also said Hudson on Twitter, “Y would u take someone’s tradegy and build a story of nothing but lies around it.”
