Mark Wahlberg, Doug Ellin confirm “Entourage” movie

By Sean O’Connell There has been a lot of chatter about a potential “Entourage” feature film, even as the HBO series works through its final season. Now a big shoe has dropped in terms of making the rumored film a reality: Producer Mark Wahlberg confirmed it will happen, even if he has to pay for it himself.

“I said if I had to finance it myself, I’d do it,” Wahlberg said to the press at the TCA press tour on Thursday.

Show creator Doug Ellin added, “We’re going to do a movie, it’s a question of when and how quickly.”

Fans of the HBO show will want to read the interview over at THR, which puts a nice cap on the current finale. It might be to tide you over until Wahlberg and his team figures out how to shift Vince (Adrian Grenier) from the small screen to the big screen … and wonders if a decent-sized entourage will follow.
