Adam Lambert switches management firms Adam Lambert is making strides in his career and that apparently includes switching management firms.

Lambert has reportedly decided to leave 19 Entertainment in order to sign on with Direct Management Group, states 411mania. His new management group also manages Katy Perry and K.D. Lang.

Lambert is one of many ‘American Idol’ contestants who have left the firm including Kelly Clarkson and Fantasia.

However, the management company will still receive royalties from his five releases.

Do you think a new management team will change his career?

I certainly hope so, He is so much more than this, he is born to do bigger and better things. He is under appreciated and his management can do so much more to promote him. I hate to say this but 19E has done poor job of promoting him. With DMG he can reach newer heights I have faith.

Finally, I hope Adam will now get the promotion and support he so richly deserves. The GNT went around the world with hardly any promotion, it was largely fan driven. If 19 can’t figure out how amazing that is and what they have in Adam Lambert, then they deserve lose him. All the best to Adam, he is a true superstar with a heart of gold and a humble soul. What a great combination. Can;t wait for Adam second album and hope he will tour soon again!!

@Will You’re right. All the promotion last year was fan driven. I hope DMG gives Adam the promotion he needs and deserves to take him to new international heights. Also, that next cd better be a smash with several hot singles that make it to the top 10 of the pop charts. We don’t want him to fade. I hope he sells several million!

We have heard nothing from Adam on this management move?? I’d like to know the truth. . Here in Canada If I Had You and Whataya Want From Me were the only two singles that did extremely well and we love him here. So did 19 really screw him with no promotion or did they think his music was not worth marketing.
