Explanation: Kate Middleton’s altered waist on ‘Grazia’

HollywoodNews.com: After Kate Middleton wed Prince William, an image of her appeared on ‘Grazia’ magazine with her waist looking noticeably slimmer.

Now, the magazine is explaining that her waist was not intentionally slimmed down, but that it was the result of getting the correct image for the magazine, states UsMagazine.com.

The magazine wanted a solo picture without William in it, but in order to get a suitable one, they had to remove him from the picture. As a result, her arm had to be altered to make it look like she was posing which then resulted in her waist needing to be changed as well.

The magazine has stated that they did not slim the waist for the sake of making Kate appear thinner.

Does this explanation make sense?
