Diablo Cody, Michel Hazanavicius latest Hollywood Film Awards recipients – AWARDS ALLEY

By Sean O’Connell
Hollywoodnews.com: On the heels of the announcement that Glenn Close would receive this year’s Career Achievement Award, the Hollywood Film Festival and Hollywood Film Awards filled out its dance card with multiple honorees that are expected to attend this year’s gala event in Beverly Hills.

Letty Aronson will receive the Hollywood Producer Award for Woody Allen’s “Midnight in Paris,” considered by many to be a Best Picture contender this year.

“The Artist” director Michel Hazanavicius will receive the Hollywood Breakthrough Director Award, while Oscar winner Diablo Cody (“Juno”) will take home the Hollywood Screenwriter Award for her work on Jason Reitman’s upcoming drama “Young Adult.”

Two-time Oscar nominee Alberto Iglesias will receive the Hollywood Film Composer Award for both “Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy” and “The Skin I Live In.” All four individuals will collect their statuettes at the Hollywood Awards Gala Ceremony, scheduled for Monday, Oct. 24, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

“We are very proud to recognize the films and work of these talented filmmakers,” said Carlos de Abreu, Founder of the Hollywood Awards Gala and publisher of HollywoodNews.com.
