‘American Idol’ sends home first major contestant

HollywoodNews.com: The ‘American Idol’ contestants performed on the big stage for the first time of the season, but one contestant will not be doing it again.

After Jeremy Rosado and Elise Testone fell into the bottom two based on audience votes, the judges had to decide which contestant would be going home, states RadarOnline.com. “We’ve come to the decision that …. we’re gonna save Elise,” Jennifer Lopez announced.

Rosado sang Stevie Wonder’s “Ribbon in the Sky” the night before.

Do you think the right person was eliminated?
