Beyonce, Jay-Z’s daughter becomes honorary citizen of Croatia Beyonce and Jay-Z’s daughter, Blue Ivy, will likely grow up having a lot, including honorary citizenship in Croatia.

The little girl is reportedly now an honorary citizen of the Croation Island of Hvar where the music powerhouses traveled last summer, states This was allegedly partially done because tourism to the area increased after Beyonce and Jay-Z were spotted there.

Beyonce also recently revealed that their daughter’s connection to the location: “We woke up this morning, took a nice little walk, passed by this beautiful blue tree. I think it’s Blue Ivy, which would be quite appropriate!”

“The story of the origin of the name of your daughter has brought enormous media attention and therefore tourist promotion to the town and island of Hvar. Because of this, I have decided to confer on your daughter the status of honourary citizen of the town of Hvar,” Major Pjerino Bebic commented.

Croatia would have to be one of the best places in the World to become an honorary citizen. There are many gorgeous islands in the Adriatic including Olib which is where I travel to each summer. Croatia dominates the coast out of the former Yugoslav states… plus Italy does not have any islands in the Adriatic Sea. Go Croatia!!!!
