‘Modern Family’ cast trying hard to change their contracts

HollywoodNews.com: It seems the cast of ‘Modern Family’ is well-aware of how popular their show is as they are apparently trying to cancel their old contracts and get some new ones.

The main cast members have allegedly all filed a lawsuit against 20th Century Fox TV demanding that their contracts be ruled null and void, states TMZ. The cast is fighting that the contracts violate California’s “7 year” law which doesn’t allow personal service contracts lasting longer than seven years.

Now, the cast wants new contracts that will give them more freedom to pursue other acting jobs and a fat raise.

Ty Burrell, Julie Bowen, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Eric Stonestreet and Sofia Vergara were initially named, but it has since been reported that Ed O’Neill joined his castmates.

Do you think they will win?
