Randy Jackson reportedly back to judge’s seat on ‘American Idol’

HollywoodNews.com: Randy Jackson is apparently getting a second chance as it is being reported that he will maintain his seat as a judge on ‘American Idol.’

Executives with the show were allegedly trying to get Enrique Iglesias into the seat, but it seems that things didn’t work out, states TMZ. Now, as producers wanted Jackson as a mentor for the contestants, things are back to normal as auditions are starting soon and a judge is needed for the seat.

There will reportedly be three other judges with him on the panel as Mariah Carey has already signed and Nicki Minaj and Keith Urban are expected to finalize agreements.
