Jessica Simpson’s dad pleads not guilty to DUI charges
HollywoodNews.com: Jessica Simpson’s dad, Joe Simpson, has reportedly pleaded not guilty in regard to his recent driving under the influence arrest.
It is reported that he had his lawyer enter the plea on his behalf and now has a pretrial hearing date set for October 11th, states UsMagazine.com. He was originally arrested and held overnight after officers stopped him at a checkpoint and discovered that he appeared intoxicated.
With the DUI charges, he could be facing a maximum of six months in jail, three years of probation and a $1,000 fine.
