Alternative Christmas movie recommendations
Merry Christmas ladies and gentlemen and happy holidays! With today being December 25th and a lot of folks gathering with family and friends around the fireplace, I though it made perfect sense to mention some options for what to watch, aside from the standard holiday options. Sure, there’s plenty of old standbys, but I’m sure you’ve all seen them dozens of times before, so I’m here with a handful of lists to share with you, in the hopes that you might discover something new to enjoy during the Christmas season. I even made sure to post this in the wee hours of the morning (after midnight, essentially) so you can have this as a guide no matter what time you wake up. Consider it a public service and my gift to you the reader!
Below you’ll find three different lists, offering up a total of 30 things that you could watch with your friends and family, either at home or in theaters right now. List number one is alternate Christmas films to swap out the classics for. List number two is 2015 releases currently in theaters that you should be seeing (one or two of them are even holiday themed). List number three is simply earlier 2015 releases that you can watch in the comfort of your own home. There should be something for everyone here, so no excuses if you can’t find something to watch today. I’ve certainly done my part to help out. It’s my pleasure, believe me, but still. Anyway, on with the lists of recommendations…
