Final Academy Award Predictions Before The 91st Oscars!

Time is up, ladies and gentlemen. Pencils down. Turn in your answers. The Academy Awards are on Sunday night, so this is truly the final moments for predictions. The Oscar telecast is going to be one for the history books, for better or worse. In terms of the films though, whatever wins the top prize will be shattering some form of a record, and that’s exciting. It has also made predicting the race almost impossible. Seriously. Anyone who gets over 50% right this time around should chalk it up as a low level win and move on. Below you’ll see where I fell with my predictions, which I’m resisting the urge to tinker with any more. It is what it is. Let us take a look now…

In the end, I’m sticking with almost all of the predictions I’ve had over the past week or two. The only really change I made is that Bohemian Rhapsody now doesn’t split the Sound categories and takes both Best Sound Editing as well as Best Sound Mixing. As for Best Picture, I’m staying with Roma. Alfonso Cuaron wins Best Director. I resisted the urge to switch to Rachel Weisz in Best Supporting Actress, and so on. This is probably the most conservative I’ve ever played it with my predictions, and yet, I’m fully expecting this to be my worst showing ever. We shall see, I guess?
