New Trailer Drops For “Avengers: Endgame”

Yesterday, the very unique publicity campaign for the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s end to Phase Three. Yes, we saw a New Trailer for Avengers: Endgame, which has been opting to barely show any footage from the film. Fair warning, the Trailer we’re going to share with you at the bottom of this post only has a tiny bit of new stuff, but it’s enough to make next month seem an age away. The MCU is about to change forever with Avengers: Endgame, so this literally will be one of the biggest movies of all time. There’s no going back. The film is just over a month away and fans are officially counting the days.

For those that somehow are not aware (both of you somewhere out there in the world), the movie is the latest Avengers outing and a direct sequel to Avengers: Infinity War. IMDb has the following synopsis: “After the devastating events of Avengers: Infinity War, the universe is in ruins. With the help of remaining allies, the Avengers assemble once more in order to undo Thanos’ actions and restore order to the universe.” Who will be along for the ride? Well, we’ve seen in Trailers the likes of Tony Stark/Iron Man (Robert Downey, Jr.), Steve Rogers/Captain America (Chris Evans), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Bruce Banner/Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Clint Barton/Hawkeye/Ronin (Jeremy Renner), Scott Lang/Ant-Man (Paul Rudd), Rocket Raccoon (voice of Bradley Cooper), and Nebula (Karen Gillan), plus of course newcomer Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel (Brie Larson). Obviously, Thanos (Josh Brolin) will return, as will presumably many of the heroes who were victims of the snap last time around. Anthony Russo and Joe Russo direct a script by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, with what feels like a supporting cast of thousands on hand as well. As you might imagine, this is one of the biggest A-list casts of all time. Alan Silvestri composed the score, while Trent Opaloch handled the cinematography.

This Trailer gives nothing really new away, unless you actually were not in the know that Captain Marvel was going to be a part of this flick. Other than that, and potentially a bit of a reveal that Tony Stark/Iron Man reunites with the surviving Avengers, it’s all a reiteration of what we already were aware of. It feeds into Marvel’s plan to not show anything beyond the barest of bones, making audiences line up in order to have the secrets unveiled within a darkened movie theater. It could be seen as a gamble or risky endeavor, but come on now, this is Marvel. They’ve got this down to an absolute science by this point.

As a reminder, this is how the MCU has shaped up for me so far, prior to this upcoming epic:

21. Thor: The Dark World

You can see the Avengers: Endgame Trailer next. April 26th frankly can’t come soon enough for me. Knowing Disney and Marvel, they won’t screen for critics until about a week or so out, so even folks like myself have in and around a month to wait this out. In the meantime, we can all obsess over the new Trailer and try to see if there’s any knowledge to be gleaned from it. Odds are, Kevin Feige and company know what they’re doing and we’ll just have to wait until late April to find out how the story ends. Anyway, behold this new look at the upcoming MCU juggernaut…

Here now is the newest Trailer for Avengers: Endgame. Enjoy:

Stay tuned for more on Avengers: Endgame before it hits theaters at the end of April and dominates the box office!
