Trailer Drops For Kristen Stewart Vehicle “Happiest Season”

Christmas movies are a dime a dozen in Hollywood, even if the recent influx of them has been lighter than usual. This year, however, we have a very promising new one in Happiest Season, the latest flick from actor turned filmmaker Clea Duvall. A vehicle for Kristen Stewart that’s a holiday themed romantic comedy? Yes please. Throw in that the cast also includes a who’s who of talented actors and actresses, as well as a genuinely charming vibe, and there’s a lot to love here. We all need things to look forward to, and this Thanksgiving, we’re getting a Christmas movie that can provide just that, as evidenced by this Trailer that just dropped today. You can see the Trailer below…

The film is a romantic comedy, with a holiday theme, as well as a romantic twist. Here’s the official synopsis from Hulu: “This holiday, everyone’s secrets are coming out. Happiest Season premieres November 25, only on Hulu. Meeting your girlfriend’s family for the first time can be tough. Planning to propose at her family’s annual Christmas dinner — until you realize that they don’t even know she’s gay — is even harder. When Abby (Kristen Stewart) learns that Harper (Mackenzie Davis) has kept their relationship a secret from her family, she begins to question the girlfriend she thought she knew. Happiest Season is a holiday romantic comedy that hilariously captures the range of emotions tied to wanting your family’s acceptance, being true to yourself, and trying not to ruin Christmas.” Clea Duvall co-writes with Mary Holland (who has a supporting role) and directs, with cast members including Alison Brie, Victor Garber, Dan Levy, Aubrey Plaza, Mary Steenburgen, and more.

With how delightful this is, we can skip right to the good stuff. Here’s the Trailer for Happiest Season. Enjoy:
