The Marvel Cinematic Universe is about to extend to the small screen. As you all know, the MCU has big plans with Disney+, tying in their upcoming series adventures to the next phase of big screen outings. First up, we have WandaVision, which is incredibly ambitious, as well as supposedly ties directly into the upcoming sequel Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness. Time will tell if that’s actually true, but WandaVision is an exciting next step for Marvel. It drops in less than two weeks, on January 15th, and a new, musically inclined, TV spot has dropped. You can see the spot at the bottom of the post, as per the usual…

The series is a landmark moment for the MCU, as you might imagine. The brief synopsis for the show is as follows: “Marvel Studios’ “WandaVision” is a blend of classic television and the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff and Vision—two super-powered beings living idealized suburban lives—begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems.” Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany) get to dive in deeper with their characters, and that should be fascinating. The rest of the cast includes Kat Dennings (reprising her MCU role from the Thor franchise), Kathryn Hahn, Fred Melamed, Randall Park (popping up from the Ant-Man franchise), Teyonah Parris, Debra Jo Rupp, and more.

Everything I’ve seen so far suggests a really fun and rather unique program. I’ll be watching on the 15th, that’s for sure. Until then, we wait. In the meantime, here is the new TV Spot for WandaVision, focusing on the original music from Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez. Enjoy:

Stay tuned for more on WandaVision later on this month!
